Not really tiddley, look at the Karnivor. That is a good example. The value of a Karni stays pretty stable because they don't make a new version every year. There are other guns aswell. Tippmann's for example. I know they aren't high end so it may not be "quite" the same but the Karni is the best example. Either way, I think you get what I'm saying.

Look at the DM5 to DM6 the difference was huge and made DM5s much less desireable, also look at any other market cars especially they are worth 3/4s as much as soon as you drive em off the lot and then when the next years model comes out they are worth even less. Depreciation and such is always a factor but thats why I havent bought a new gun since my mantis last year and I got that at about 200 less than the cheapest internet price 2 weeks after release

If you get a DM6 or an Ego (06) there is no reason to get a new marker in the next few years unless you really do not like the feel of it. By the time it becomes a low-value item, other markers in the same performance/price range would have lost quite a bit of value anyway.
