Timmies are a man's gun. But shockers are for speedballers. But seriously, as long as size isnt an issue, timmy's can be great guns, but more often than not, aren't properly taken care of, and break down after six months or so.

timmy ftw. ive had both. my 04 shocker was horrible. threads were stripped in my feedneck on the on/off button kept getting jammed inside the gun. so id have to take a screw driver to the field and pry it back out but my alias hasnt had any problems. cept for the fact that the guy sent me a fried board. overall get a timmy. smart parts is horrible in general.

Get a timmy. They are just so easy to work with. So many parts out there and half of them work for almost every gun.

My gen2 timmy was nice, but the gen3 timmy i had i hated just because it constantly broke, ask charlie. That said a nice PL shocker like the Dynastys or Tontons I would pick over a 2k4/5 timmy but if its a stock body shocker vs 2k5 alias/dark/etc I would pick the timmy.
with the shocker be prepared to lube it every 2 hours when you play and every day after you play, and also be prepared to have trouble with SP if you alter it in any way from stock including grip.

Timmies shoot great if they are well-maintained. Shockers have horrid efficiency, and IMO they look bad.
